In the early morning hours of July 9, 2013, the life of 19-year-old Antwan Rivers, Jr. was tragically cut short in Savannah, Georgia. A Black male, Rivers was discovered on a sidewalk in the 1100 block of East 38th Street after residents in the area reported hearing multiple gunshots at approximately 1:22 a.m. He had sustained fatal gunshot wounds.
