On April 2, 2024, 16-year-old Alejandro DeLeon was found fatally shot near 55th Street and Michigan Avenue in Kansas City, Missouri. Police responded to reports of car prowlers around 1:30 a.m., which escalated to reports of gunshots in the area. Upon arrival, officers discovered DeLeon with gunshot wounds; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with DeLeon's death. The Kansas City Police Department continues to investigate the homicide
