In Kansas City, Missouri, on the afternoon of November 25, 2023, a 16-year-old Black male named Derrick White, Jr. was fatally shot. The incident occurred just after 3 p.m. inside a residence in the 3200 block of Park Avenue. When police officers arrived at the scene, they found Derrick unresponsive.
