On the night of September 23, 2023, the life of 22-year-old Martez Currell Stevenson was tragically cut short in St. Louis, Missouri. A Black male, Stevenson was discovered in the driver's seat of a white sedan near the intersection of Kingshighway Boulevard and Hodiamont Tracks just after 11:45 p.m. He had been shot multiple times and was pronounced dead at the scene. At the time of his death, he resided in the 5000 block of Trailbend Drive in Black Jack.
