In the late summer of 2023, a shooting in south Kansas City's Ruskin Heights neighborhood tragically cut short the life of 24-year-old Devin Sparkman. On the evening of Wednesday, September 6th, police were called to the 11300 block of Bristol Terrace, where they discovered Sparkman suffering from a gunshot wound.
