In the early morning hours of July 7, 2023, a violent encounter at a gas station in the Dutchtown neighborhood of St. Louis tragically ended the life of 52-year-old Jametric Steele. The male victim was discovered by police just after 4 a.m. at the QuikTrip located at the intersection of Gravois Avenue and Chippewa Street, having sustained a fatal gunshot wound to the head.
