On June 25, 2023, 22-year-old Nikko Manning was tragically killed in a shooting near 57th Street and Prospect Avenue in Kansas City, Missouri. Nikko had been celebrating his birthday with family and friends when the incident occurred. While escorting his mother to their vehicle, gunfire erupted, and Nikko was fatally struck. His mother attempted CPR until emergency responders arrived, but sadly, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
