In the early hours of a summer morning in Kansas City, Missouri, the life of Ryan O. Bowman, a 42-year-old Black / African American man, was tragically cut short. On June 15, 2023, officers were called to the scene of a shooting in the 1300 block of East 89th Street around 1:30 a.m. There, they discovered Bowman inside a vehicle, suffering from gunshot wounds. He was rushed to a nearby hospital for medical attention.
