In a quiet neighborhood in unincorporated north St. Louis County, a welfare check on the afternoon of May 1, 2023, led to a grim discovery. Inside a home in the 2700 block of Rottingdean Drive, police officers found the bodies of 60-year-old Cheryl Washington and a 61-year-old man.
