In the early morning hours of a late December day in 2011, the life of Damon Brittian, a 33-year-old man from Atlanta, Georgia, was tragically cut short. Responding to the sound of gunfire around 5 a.m. in northwest Atlanta, police discovered Brittian's body at the scene. He had sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
