On November 10, 2023, 21-year-old Kaleb Alexander Hunt, known affectionately as "KK," was fatally shot in a drive-by shooting in Maxton, North Carolina. The incident occurred shortly after midnight in the 12000 block of Highway 130, where two residences were struck by gunfire. Upon arrival, Robeson County Sheriff's deputies found Hunt deceased at the scene.
