On the evening of August 23, 2024, a chaotic and violent scene unfolded on the 600 block of North 12th Street in Philadelphia, resulting in the death of 32-year-old Kyshon Parson-Wright. A Black male, Parson-Wright was standing outside at approximately 6:18 p.m. when a black Jeep suddenly pulled up. Two armed individuals exited the vehicle and began chasing him down the street.
