The victims were identified as Mario Guzman Mendoza, 42; Alicia Ramirez Aparicio, 32; Francisco Aldape Perez, 32; and Olivo Perez Pina, 32, all residents of
King City. Guzman, a dedicated family man, left behind his wife, Andrea Carrasco, and two daughters, 17-year-old Emily and 9-year-old Rocio. His family recalls that he had gone out that evening to pick up tacos for dinner when he was caught in the crossfire.
In the subsequent investigation, authorities identified and arrested three suspects: 18-year-old Jonathan Leal Cervantes, 32-year-old Pedro Manuel Nava, and a juvenile, all from Greenfield. They have been charged with multiple counts, including four counts of murder, seven counts of attempted murder, and criminal conspiracy, with additional gang enhancement charges.
