On the night of February 17, 2024, at approximately 10:50 p.m., 35-year-old Lucio Flores Diaz was fatally shot in northwest Fresno, California. The incident occurred on San Gabriel Avenue near Pleasant Street, close to the intersection of Shaw and Marks avenues. Upon arrival, officers found Diaz with a gunshot wound to his upper body. Despite immediate medical attention and transportation to Community Regional Medical Center, he succumbed to his injuries.
