On the evening of September 1, 2023, at approximately 9 p.m., deputies from the Perris Sheriff Station responded to reports of a shooting at a residence in the 300 block of West First Street in Perris, California. Upon arrival, they discovered 21-year-old Alexis Larranaga suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Larranaga was promptly transported to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
