Marcelo Barajas Jr.

On July 30, 2023, at approximately 7:23 p.m., 35-year-old Marcelo Barajas Jr. was fatally shot in the Chollas Creek neighborhood of San Diego, California. Officers from the San Diego Police Department responded to reports of gunfire in the 3700 block of Altadena Avenue, where they discovered Barajas lying in the street with a gunshot wound to his upper body. Despite immediate medical attention and transportation to a local hospital, Barajas succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival.
