On May 28, 2023, at approximately 7:00 p.m., Fresno police responded to reports of a shooting near the intersection of Glenn Avenue and Lansing Way. Upon arrival, officers discovered 39-year-old Paul Fierro lying in the roadway with a gunshot wound to his upper body. He was promptly transported to Community Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead about 90 minutes later.
