Gerald Perry, a 65-year-old resident of Fresno, California, tragically lost his life on April 18, 2014, due to a gunshot wound to the head. The incident occurred at his granddaughter's apartment in Northwest Fresno. Perry was visiting his granddaughter and was sitting on the couch when a bullet, fired from a neighboring apartment, pierced through the sliding glass door and struck him.
