On March 26, 2023, 14-year-old Juan Ortega was fatally shot in Palmdale, California. The incident occurred around 5:20 p.m. in the 3000 block of East Avenue R-4. Authorities identified Juan Ortega as the victim, and his death was classified as a homicide.
