On March 26, 2023, 14-year-old Juan Ortega was fatally shot in Palmdale, California. The incident occurred around 5:20 p.m. in the 3000 block of East Avenue R-4. Authorities identified Juan Ortega as the victim, and his death was classified as a homicide.
In addition to Ortega, another male victim sustained a gunshot wound to his right leg.
This individual managed to return to his residence in the 3100 block of Heather Avenue and was subsequently transported to a hospital for medical treatment.
As of now, there have been no reports of arrests or identification of suspects related to this case.
