On April 28, 2023, a tragic mass shooting occurred northwest of Cleveland in San Jacinto County, Texas, resulting in the deaths of five individuals. Among the victims was Sonia Argentina Guz, a 25-year-old Hispanic woman. The incident unfolded late at night, around 11:31 p.m. CDT, following a dispute between neighbors.
