In the late hours of November 27, 2024, the life of 21-year-old Antonio Dewayne Wright II, a Black male from Bessemer, Alabama, was tragically cut short. Emergency responders were dispatched to a residential area in Bessemer following reports of a disturbance. Upon arrival, they discovered Wright with significant injuries.
