On November 27, 2024, at approximately 1:00 a.m., a shooting occurred in the 8300 block of Canaan Drive in Columbus, Georgia, resulting in the deaths of two 18-year-old individuals. J’Mauri Taylor was pronounced dead at the scene at 1:38 a.m. Dai’John Ross was transported to Piedmont Columbus Regional Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries on November 29, 2024, at 8:19 p.m.
