In the a violent weekend for New Orleans, 18-year-old Wayne Eric Orsin was killed on Saturday, November 30, 2024. Orsin and 31-year-old Rashada Richardson were both fatally shot in what was reported as a double homicide. The shooting occurred in an apartment complex in the Westlake Forest neighborhood.
