On a Thursday afternoon in March 2020, the life of 16-year-old Daviyon Morrell of Newington, a male, was tragically cut short. On March 12, at approximately 2 p.m., Hartford police responded to a report of a person shot at 59 Lenox Street. Upon arrival, they discovered Morrell inside the three-dwelling home with at least one gunshot wound to his upper chest.
