On a Sunday evening in Bridgeport, Connecticut, the life of 21-year-old Leogiovanni Fernandes Spencer, a Black male, was tragically cut short. On September 8, 2019, at approximately 9:20 p.m., Spencer was sitting in the passenger seat of a car at the end of Gem Avenue, near Whitney Place.
