On a late Tuesday evening in Bridgeport, Connecticut, the life of 37-year-old Fredrick Richardson was tragically cut short. On August 16, 2016, the Black male was sitting in the passenger seat of a parked car on Noble Avenue when an unidentified individual approached the vehicle and opened fire. The sudden hail of bullets struck both Richardson and the driver.
Mortally wounded, Richardson was rushed to Bridgeport Hospital by the injured driver, but he ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
