In the early morning hours of June 17, 2016, the life of 21-year-old Trevino Archer, a Black male from Bloomfield, Connecticut, was tragically cut short. Police responded to a residence on Plain Drive in East Hartford shortly after 4 a.m. to find a scene of violence. Inside the home, Trevino had been fatally shot. Another victim, a 23-year-old pregnant woman, was also found suffering from gunshot wounds. She was rushed to Hartford Hospital in critical condition.
