In the quiet hours of a Sunday morning in Denver, Colorado, a grim discovery was made that would forever alter the lives of many. On November 24, 2019, the body of 41-year-old Jerrod Shoals, a male, was found inside a vehicle in the 3600 block of Elm Street. The Denver Police Department received a call at 8 a.m. and promptly began a homicide investigation. An autopsy would later confirm that Shoals died from a gunshot wound.
