In the late summer of 2021, a heartbreaking tragedy struck the city of Louisville, Kentucky, forever altering the lives of a local family. On August 15, 2021, nine-year-old Kaylee Jessica Doris Lee, a bright-eyed fourth-grade student at Wilkerson Elementary, was killed.
