Tyquan D. Woods, a 21-year-old resident of Hampton, Virginia, tragically lost his life on July 12, 2014. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning when police responded to multiple 911 calls reporting gunshots. Upon arrival, officers found Woods lying on the sidewalk in the 200 block of North Back River Road, suffering from fatal gunshot wounds. Another victim, a 25-year-old man, was also found nearby with life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital.
