On the evening of October 29, 2022, Kevan Anthony Akbar, a 27-year-old male, was fatally shot while sitting in his car at a BP gas station located near East 30th Street and North Arlington Avenue in Indianapolis. He was transported to a local hospital in critical condition with a gunshot wound to his head and succumbed to his injuries the following morning.
