In the early morning hours of November 21, 2017, the life of Keith Antonio Myers, a 42-year-old man from South Bend, Indiana, was brought to a sudden and violent end. Myers was asleep in his bed in his home on North Varsity Drive when gunshots shattered the predawn quiet. He was struck by a bullet and discovered by his wife, who immediately called for help. Emergency responders rushed him to a local hospital, but his injuries proved to be fatal.
