On the evening of April 12, 2022, Alfred Brown, a 44-year-old man, was shot and killed in his vehicle outside of a Family Dollar store in the area of 39th and Indiana in Kansas City, Missouri. The events leading up to the fatal shooting began when a man entered the store and used an ATM to withdraw cash. He then proceeded to Alfred Brown's car, which was parked outside.
