On a seemingly ordinary day, April 30, 2010, 21-year-old Arianna Ivane Davis, known affectionately as "Peaches," left her family's home in Henrico, Virginia. She was just six weeks away from graduating from a massage therapy program at Fortis College and was reportedly excited about her future. Arianna was last seen wearing a pink shirt, blue cut-off jean shorts, and multi-colored flip-flops, with her hair in a wrap and secured with pink and white hair clips. She embarked on a short, three-block walk to the J Express Mart on Nine Mile Road, a trip she had likely made many times before. Her intention was to make a quick purchase, and because she expected to return promptly, she left her keys and identification at home. The last confirmed sighting of Arianna was between 1:15 and 1:30 p.m. at the convenience store, where she bought a Black and Mild cigar. After leaving the store, she was seen walking down Koch Avenue, presumably heading back toward her residence. Witnesses reported that her behavior seemed normal and she appeared happy. Arianna was very close to her family and had a consistent habit of communicating her whereabouts; she would always notify her parents if she planned to be away for more than an hour and had never spent a night away from home without them knowing. When she did not return from her brief trip to the store, her family's concern grew with each passing moment. Her cell phone has shown no activity since her disappearance. Investigators believe foul play was involved in Arianna's disappearance and have treated her case as a probable homicide. A man named Tijuan Holland, who was reportedly seen with Arianna around the time she vanished, has been identified as a suspect in her case. Holland is currently incarcerated, serving a lengthy sentence for stabbing another woman. Despite this connection, no charges have been filed in relation to Arianna's disappearance. The case remains an open investigation, a source of profound and unending grief for her family who continue to hope for answers. Her disappearance is a haunting reminder of a young life cut short, a future filled with promise that was never realized.
