On September 26, 1988, 29-year-old Toshiro Okamoto, also known as Tommy, was last seen in the vicinity of Kodiak, Alaska. He was involved in a boating accident in Marka Bay, which is located near the southern end of Afognak Island. Following this incident, Okamoto was not seen again, and he is now presumed to be deceased. The Alaska State Troopers are the primary investigating agency for this case.
