Walter H. Minano, an elderly American Indian/Alaska Native man, has been missing since June 26, 1986. He was 76 years old at the time of his disappearance from Nenana, a town in the Yukon-Koyukuk Census Area of Alaska. His case is being handled by the Alaska State Troopers. The circumstances surrounding his disappearance are categorized as environmental. It is believed that he may have drowned in the Tanana River, but his body was never located.
