In the waning hours of a Sunday evening in Columbus, Georgia, the life of 16-year-old Allen Toombs Jr. was tragically cut short. On November 15, 2020, in the vicinity of Cusseta Road and Conner Road, the young African American male was fatally shot, a victim of senseless gun violence that would leave a permanent scar on his family and the community.
