On a Sunday afternoon, May 3, 2020, the life of 37-year-old Michael Shaun 'Mike' Mosher, a dedicated police officer, was cut tragically short in a violent confrontation. Mosher, a male, was off-duty but in his uniform and on his way to work when he witnessed a hit-and-run accident at West 143rd Street and Antioch Road in Overland Park, a suburb of Kansas City. He immediately radioed dispatch to report the incident and began to follow the suspect's vehicle.
