In the early morning hours of August 25, 2018, the life of 17-year-old Raphael Butler-Grimmett was tragically cut short on a street in Kansas City, Missouri. A resident of Missouri, the young man was expecting his first child and worked as a Cubmaster Ambassador for the Boy Scouts of America. He was known to be a good student who also worked for the Full Employment Council to secure more employment to support his growing family.
