On a late Saturday morning, the life of 18-year-old Shareef Muse was tragically cut short. On July 30, 2022, at approximately 11:11 a.m., the sound of gunfire pierced the air in the 1800 block of Gwynns Falls Parkway in Northwest Baltimore. When police arrived, they discovered the young Black man suffering from gunshot wounds. Emergency medical services transported Muse to a nearby hospital, but his injuries proved to be fatal, and he was pronounced dead.
