Javier Gonzalez-Mena, aged 39, was tragically killed on June 22, 2022, in Rockville, Maryland. The incident occurred at the Red Roof Inn located on Shady Grove Road. On that fateful day, Gonzalez-Mena was staying at the inn when Sergey Danshin, 35, and Micah Clemons, 33, knocked on his door. After a brief confrontation, Danshin left the area only to return a few minutes later wearing a face covering. He ambushed Gonzalez-Mena, fatally shooting him while Gonzalez-Mena's girlfriend held his hand.
