In the quiet evening of February 18, 2022, a dispute tragically escalated, claiming the life of 26-year-old Ernesto Gomez in Landover, Maryland. At approximately 8:00 pm, patrol officers were dispatched to the 2500 block of Kent Town Place following reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they discovered Mr. Gomez outside, suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite the immediate response, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
