In the early hours of New Year's Day 2022, the life of 17-year-old Bernard 'Mooshka' Thomas III was tragically cut short in a burst of gunfire on Gelston Drive in Baltimore, Maryland. The shooting, which occurred just ninety minutes into the new year, also claimed the life of 16-year-old Desmond Canada and left a third teenager wounded.
