In the summer of 2021, a young Black / African American man's life was cut short on the streets of Baltimore. Tywan Murray, a 24-year-old male, was fatally shot on the afternoon of July 20, 2021. The incident occurred around 1:45 p.m. in the 2000 block of Kennedy Avenue, where he was discovered and pronounced dead at the scene.
