In the early evening of June 16, 2021, the life of 35-year-old Dapo Ojo of Hyattsville, Maryland, was tragically cut short. An off-duty police officer, driving in the 3300 block of 75th Avenue in Landover, discovered Ojo lying in the roadway around 5:10 p.m. He had sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
