In the winter of 2020, the life of 22-year-old Marques Jeremiah Thomas, a Black male from Baltimore, Maryland, was tragically cut short. On the evening of December 16th, Thomas and another young man, 20-year-old Jatwan Baker, were discovered inside a vehicle in West Baltimore. Both men had been fatally shot in what was determined to be a double homicide.
