In the autumn of 2019, the life of Cyrus Beads, a 34-year-old Black man, was tragically cut short on the streets of Baltimore, Maryland. On the evening of September 26th, at approximately 9:41 p.m., police responded to a report of a shooting in the 2200 block of Annapolis Road. There, they discovered Beads unresponsive, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the head. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
