On the evening of October 14, 2020, Daynard Devere Johnson, a 40-year-old male resident of Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, was found deceased in Hagerstown, Maryland. Shortly before 10:30 p.m., officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 300 block of Henry Avenue. Upon arrival, they discovered Johnson on the sidewalk, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds to his head, chest, abdomen, and hand. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
