In the early hours of a late spring morning in Baltimore, Maryland, the city's persistent struggle with violence claimed another life. Stephen Pendergarst, a 31-year-old Black male, was discovered in the 300 block of Key Highway at approximately 4:01 a.m. on Saturday, May 30, 2020. He was suffering from fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
