On a Friday night in March, the sounds of gunfire pierced the air in an East Baltimore neighborhood, leading to the tragic death of Rashid Francis. On March 13, 2020, police responded to a Shot Spotter alert in the 700 block of North Rose Street at approximately 9:40 p.m.. Upon their arrival, they discovered a 45-year-old male suffering from gunshot wounds to his head and torso.
